Особливостi перекладу англомовного серiалу "Daredevil" украiнською мовою

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота: 72 стор., 64 джерела. Об’єкт дослідження: використання перекладацьких трансформацій під час перекладу англомовного серіалу “Daredevil” на українську мову. Мета дослідження: проаналізувати переклад англомовного серіалу «Daredevil»українською мовою та виявити його особливості на лексичному і граматичному рівнях за допомогою лексико-граматичних трансформацій. Теоретико–методологічні засади: ключові положення перекладу кінематографії (Амочкін В. В, Бузаджі Д. М., Гордон Г., Комиссаров В. Н., Козуляев А. В.) Отримані результати: при перекладі серіалів перекладачами використовуються техніка аудіовізуального перекладу - субтитрування, закадрове озвучення і дублювання. Під час перекладу серіалу “Daredevil” перекладач вдавався до таких лексичних трансформацій, як конкретизація, антонімічний переклад, смисловий розвиток, генералізація та смислове перетворення. Були встановлені розбіжності між текстом оригіналу та текстом перекладу на лексичному і граматичному рівні. Головними граматичними трансформаціями були опущення, додавання, зміна порядку слів та заміна частин мови. Ключовими елементами перекладу були робота з релігійною, юридичною та просторічною лексикою. Під час роботи перекладач притримувався концепції доместикації. Через недостатнє заглиблення в сюжет і проблематику серіалу у деяких випадках перекладач не дуже влучно використовував трансформації , що призводило до втрати частини логіки і сенсу певних подій україномовним глядачем.

EN : The article is devoted to the specifics of translation units used in TV serial “Daredevil” and like any other field of scientific knowledge, has its own specific set of terminology and the most commonly used words “Daredevil” made a great impact to the moviemaking society and appeared to be the most successful TV serial about superheroes ever. It consists a huge number of religious terminology, colloquial words, juridical and military terminology and is full with New York’s realities. While translating the TV show a specialist had to manage processing of different lexical and grammar units, solving the issue of domestication and keeping the pace between English and Ukrainian text. Considering the work of the translator I tried to analyze the relevance of using different transformation, made assumption towards translator’s motivation of their usage, showed some criticism on this field and made own suggestion of making the translation look better. During the research I found out the main units used in it were adding, omitting, sense development and antonyms translation. The translator uses them generally to make source language look more like a target language, converting English word combinations in more natural Ukrainian equivalents. According to the analysis, I managed to get that the main target for the translator was not to lose the coherence between the source and target texts, not to lose language peculiarities and make Ukrainian spectator feel the same emotions as foreigners. Still while translation several critical mistakes were made, due to which the viewer could not understand motivation or sequence of actions made by characters and I suggested my own way of solving these issues. The result of my research shows that translation of “Daredevil” is great field of using different translative strategies and methods.
