Особливості новітньої англомовної лексики та фразеології, пов’язаної із злочинністю та її переклад

Abstract

EN : The qualification work consists of 69 pages and 76 sources. The object of the work can be defined as English phraseology related to crime. The main aim of the paper consists in revealing the features of the latest English vocabulary and phraseology related to crime and its translation. Theoretical and methodological principles: definition of the main provisions of the concept of «neologism», their types, causes, functions and process of entry into the language system, analysis of the features of the latest English language`s phraseology, general methods of translation and research methods in the theory of translation. Research methods consists in method of linguistic observation, method of analysis and synthesis, descriptive and component methods, method of analysis of dictionary definitions. The scientific novelty of diploma is own research of the peculiarities of the latest English vocabulary and phraseology related to crime and its translation. The results obtained: 1. defined theoretical and methodological principles, in particular, outlined the concept of «neologism», their types, causes, main functions, the process of entry into the language system; 2. the peculiarities of the new phraseology of the English language are analysed, in particular, the phraseology related to the criminal sphere; 3. methods of translation and methods of research in the theory of translation are stated; 4. the ways and means of formation of innovations of English of criminal sphere are analysed; 5. the innovations in accordance with the thematic classification of neologisms of the criminal sphere, which consists of innovations that reflect terrorism and the fight against it; innovations related to cybercrime; innovations 71 related to economic crime; innovations related to crimes against the individual; innovations related to drug crime; innovations related to sexual crime; innovations related to the punishment for committing crimes are identified, analysed and described. Features of translation of innovative English into the criminal sphere are also described.

Мета роботи: розкриття особливостей новітньої англомовної лексики та фразеології, пов’язаної із злочинністю та її переклад. Теоретико-методологічні засади: визначення основних положень поняття «неологізму», їх видів, причин виникнення, функцій та процесу входження неологізмів в систему мови, а також аналіз особливостей новітньої фразеології англійської мови, загальних способів перекладу та методики дослідження в теорії перекладу. Методи дослідження: метод лінгвістичного спостереження, метод аналізу та синтезу, описовий та компонентний методи, метод аналізу словникових дефініцій. Наукова новизна: власне дослідження особливостей новітньої англомовної лексики та фразеології, пов’язаної із злочинністю та її перекладу. Отримані результати: 1. визначено теоретико-методологічні засади, зокрема, окреслено поняття «неологізму», їх види, причини виникнення, основні функції, процес входження неологізмів в систему мови; 2. проаналізовано особливості новітньої фразеології англійської мови, зокрема, фразеології, що пов’язана із кримінальною сферою; 3. окреслено способи перекладу та методику дослідження в теорії перекладу; 4. проаналізовано шляхи та способи утворення інновацій англійської мови кримінальної сфери; 5. виявлено, проаналізовано та описано інновації відповідно до тематичної класифікації неологізмів кримінальної сфери, яка складається з 1 інновацій, які відбивають тероризм та боротьбу з ним; інновацій, які пов’язані із кіберзлочинністю; інновацій, які пов’язані із економічною злочинністю; інновацій, які пов’язані із злочинами проти особистості; інновацій, які пов’язані із наркозлочинністю; інновацій, які пов’язані із злочинністю сексуального характеру; інновації, які пов’язані із покаранням за вчинення злочинів. Також описано особливості перекладу інновацій англійської мови кримінальної сфери.
