Abstract

EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the study of the comic effect. The study shows that there are different ways of creating a comic effect. These include humor, satire, puns and irony. It turns out that humor has an individuality and is considered one of the kindest ways of creating the comic. That is, it gives a kind of enjoyment to the joke, thereby distancing a person from the complexities of this world. Irony is different in that it is intuitive. In other words, it can be understood on an intuitive level, even without an explanation. Irony is used to convey truth, but it is also hidden and veiled, it is spoken in other words. That is, it says one thing, but means something else. But a person at the level of intuition can guess what is meant. Satire has the peculiarity that it has a more negative attitude towards the subject than a positive one. It is not about conveying life or being believable, but about exposing the essence of life's problems. Satire is also characterized by criticism, unlike humor, which is more gentle. A pun is not like any other way of creating comic effect. But it is not as simple as it might seem at first sight. A pun is a play of words. Although a pun has associations that are fun and positive, it can actually have a negative connotation, where it is used to mock others. That said, a pun is considered one of the most difficult to translate. Because when translating from the original into another language there is no certainty that an exact equivalent will be found and therefore it may be necessary to resort to substitution. The difficulty also lies in the fact that there are words that sound the same but have different meanings. It can therefore be difficult to hear and understand a pun. So it turns out that all of the above-mentioned ways of creating comic effect are found in "Why Women Kill". They are all appropriate, thereby creating such a masterpiece series, with its charisma and making it incredibly vivid. In conclusion, it is important to say that each way of creating the comic has its own value. And this mix makes it look harmonious.

Отримані результати: Дане дослідження показало, що комічність досить складний і суперечливий феномен, що одного єдино-точного пояснення немає, але воно розглядається як естетична категорія, яка має соціальний характер. Комічність цікава багатьом наукам, зокрема літературі, психології та лінгвістиці. Було з'ясовано, що існують способи досягнення комічного ефекту, серед яких найпопулярніші – це гумор, іронія, сатира, каламбур. В американському телесеріалі найбільш поширені іронія та сарказм. Таким чином, було доведено, що цей серіал є жанром "dark comedy", якій притаманні суперечливі події та заборонені теми, а також використання чорного гумору, основною метою якого є не просто висміяти, а показати легкість по відношенню до тем «табу».
