Об’єкт дослідження: реклама, до структури якої залучаються засоби двох семіотичних систем (вербальної та невербальної).
Мета роботи: визначити особливості мультимодальної реклами та виявити її комунікативний потенціал.
Теоретико-методологічні засади: концепції та методи, що визначають сучасні підходи до вивчення мультимодальної реклами, зокрема у контексті туризму в англомовних країнах.
Отримані результати: результати вказують на виразну витонченість мультимодальної реклами, оскільки вона перенаправляє увагу з пріоритету традиційних відносин продукт-покупець на встановлення зв'язків між покупцями та продавцями туристичних послуг. Інтеграція візуальних і мовних семіотичних засобів визнана як обов'язкова для ефективного здійснення переконливої функції реклами в туристичній сфері. Мультимодальна реклама не лише представляє собою цікавий жанр письмового дискурсу, але й створює справжній виклик для мультидисциплінарних досліджень, охоплюючи аспекти туризму, міжкультурної комунікації та глобалізації.
EN : The present paper is dedicated to the analysis of such a topical problem as the multimodal means of advertising in the tourism sphere of the English-speaking countries.
The object of the work can be defined as the research of advertising and analysis of the structure which reveals the features of two semiotic systems (verbal and non-verbal).
The main aim of the paper consists in defining the peculiarities of multimodal advertising and identify its communicative potential.
The purpose of the research was to analyze various means of multimodal communication used in tourism advertising in the English-speaking countries. Another objective was to reveal the role of those means that make adverts multimodal, or – in other terms – creolized texts.
The research findings demonstrate that multimodal means in advertising give rise to creolized texts, characterized as hybrid semiotic artifacts that blend online visual interfaces with language usage
In conclusion, the sophistication of multimodal advertisements is evident as they shift focus towards establishing connections between buyers and sellers of tourism services, rather than prioritizing the traditional product-buyer relationship. The integration of visual and linguistic semiotic means is deemed necessary for efficiently fulfilling the persuasive function of advertising in the tourism sphere. Multimodal advertising not only emerges as an intriguing genre of written discourse but also poses a genuine challenge for multidisciplinary studies encompassing tourism, intercultural communication, and globalization.
