До таких чинників можна віднести засоби масової інформації, комп’ютерні ігри, особливості родинного виховання, незнання батьками психічних і вікових особливостей дитини, наявність у самих батьків страхів, конфліктні відносини в сім’ї, поведінкові, соціальні та емоційні проблеми, що випливають із цього. Для кожного періоду психічного розвитку дитини характерні різні групи страхів, які пов’язані з підвищеною тривожністю та сприяють розвитку емоційного неблагополуччя особистості дитини, до того ж, одні групи страхів із часом прогресують, а інші регресують. Наукова новизна дослідження у тому, що узагальнено сутність поняття «страх»; розширено уявлення про виникнення та особливості прояву страхів у дітей дошкільного віку; розроблено програму подолання страхів у дітей дошкільного віку засобами казкотерапії.

The scientific novelty of the research is that it summarizes the essence of the concept of "fear"; expanded understanding of the occurrence and features of the manifestation of fears in preschool children; developed a program for overcoming fears in preschool children by means of fairy-tale therapy.
