Структурно-семантичні особливості англомовної технічної термінології та її переклад українською мовою

Abstract

UA : Дипломна робота – 64 стор., 70 джерел. Об’єкт дослідження: відображення особливостей перекладу термінів та їх структурно – семантичних особливостей у авіаційній сфері з англійської мови на українську (на матеріалі авіаційної термінології). Мета роботи: аналіз структурно-семантичних особливостей англійських технічних термінів сфери авіаційної термінології та особливостей їх перекладу на українську мову. Теоретико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теорії дискурсу, розроблені в лінгвістиці (Ф. Циткіної, А. Реформатського, Д. Лотте, Б. Головіна, А. Суперанської, І. Арнольда, Т. Левицької, А. Федорова, В. Комісарова, Г. Винокур, В. Лейчика, А. Швейцера та ін.). Отримані результати: семантичну структуру термінів авіаційної сфери складають загальнонаукові терміни, спеціальні та загальнолітературні, які технічними термінами за рахунок переосмислення та звуження значения, що зумовлено певним оточенням, що зумовлено певним оточенням. Англійські терміни авіаційної сфери утворюються за допомогою: 1) словотворчих способів: a) афіксація; б) абревіація; 2) синтаксичних способів: a) термінисловосполучення, які мають один із компонентів технічний термін, а другийзагальновживану лексику; б) терміни-словосполучення, обидва компоненти яких являються загальновживаною лексикою і тільки сполучення цих слів є терміном. До найбільш характерних прийомів перекладу технічної авіаційної термінології відносяться: калькування; транскрибування, транслітерація, транскодування та опис. При неможливості передачі терміна терміном використовується описовий переклад та транскрибування(транслітерації, транскодування).

EN : Terminology is an essential part of a scientific language and promotes the significance of linguistics in the technical items. The increase of the information process's automatization makes the terminological issues very important and widely discussed. The works which study the problems connected with the general definition of the "term", makes the linguistics closer not only to the different fields of learning but also to the professional spheres of the application of these terms. That's why linguistic-oriented activities include solutions of the different terminological issues. It stipulates the necessity of the profound terminological study. The present diploma work is dedicated to the analysis of the structural and semantic peculiarities of the aviation terms and the ways of their translation into Ukrainian. Nowadays there isn't any generally accepted definition of the notion "term". But if study the definitions proposed by different linguistics, we could say: "a term – is a word or a word combination of a certain language, the content of which is a technical, scientific or any other specific concept". Examining the peculiarities of aviation terms we've found out that the most typical method of their formation is suffix. The semantic structure can also draw our attention because of a great number of specific technical and scientific spheres where aviation terminology is used. It has its specific peculiarities. The syntactic structure of terms is considered by researchers in various aspects. Distribution of lexical items into simple derivatives, complex words and phrases are generally quite reasonable. Some researchers, in addition to term words and terminology, identify several other structural types of terms: abbreviations, symbols, alphabetic characters. As a result of our examination we have found out that the semantic structure of aviation terms can be divideed into several semantic groups: 1) terms, denoting processes; 2) terms, denoting states; 3) terms, denoting the names of the items; 4) terms, denoting definite services used in each the specific of destination; 5) terms, denoting working systems.
