Об’єкт дослідження – суспільно-церковні процеси в Україні та світі, що визначили здобуття помісного статусу Православної Церкви України.
Предметом дослідження є контекст формування помісного статусу Православної Церкви в Україні у проекціях міжконфесійних відносин в Україні та міжправославних відносин Київ-Константинополь-Москва-православний світ.
Мета роботи: простежити формування помісного статусу Православної Церкви України в контексті боротьби за церковні позиції на Україні.
Новизна роботи полягає у комплексному осмисленні причин та передумов надання помісного статусу Православній Церкві України, узагальненні подій сучасного значення – створення єдиної помісної церкви в Україні.
Висновки:
Українське православ’я протягом своєї тривалої історії виборювало незалежність від РПЦ. Воно має свої самобутні риси з їх багатовіковою традицією, які, однак, були втрачені з підпорядкуванням Київської митрополії Московському патріархату в 1686 році. Сьогодні активно йде скидання «російського одягу» Українською Церквою, набутого в імперський період, повернення власних особливостей. Такі тенденції проявляються в розбудові ПЦУ.
У зв’язку зі створенням ПЦУ, міжправославні конфлікти не зникли та не був подоланий поки що інституційний розкол в православ’ї. Так, в Україні все ще діє УПЦ МП та намагається відновити свою діяльність УПЦ КП.
Становленню ПЦУ передували: переорієнтація України на західноєвропейський вектор розвитку та російська агресія; Всеправославний собор на Криті 2016 року; зближення УПЦ КП з УАПЦ; війна Константинопольського патріархату та Московського за православну першість в Україні;Московсько-Константинопольська схизма 2018 року.
Відправним пунктом в активізації протистояння Московського та Константинопольського патріархату, а також одним із чинників української автокефалії став Всеправославний собор на Криті 2016 року, який явно показав справжні наміри РПЦ. На соборі було прийнято регламент надання автокефалії, а також створені законодавчі умови та умови міжнародного визнання прийнятих в майбутньому актів створення в Україні ПЦУ та надання томосу для вирішення питання єдності православ’я в Україні.
Пройшовши довгий шлях до об’єднання, УАПЦ та УПЦ КП змогли подолати той бар’єр та суперечності, які існували між ними заради об’єднання в новій канонічній Помісній Церкві. Активізація діалогу УАПЦ та УПЦ КП відбулась в умовах процесу підготовки до надання автокефалії Православній Церкві України. Так, організовувались спільні молебні, писались спільні звернення до Константинопольського патріархату.
На сьогодні постають нові виклики ПЦУ. Вони гальмують її подальшу побудову. Серед таких можемо назвати дії РПЦ та її маріонеткової УПЦ МП, дії патріарха Філарета по відновленню УПЦ КП та дії нинішньої української влади, а також Московсько-Константинопольська схизма, яка перешкоджає повному визнанню ПЦУ Помісними Церквами та переходу до наступних етапів надання автокефалії у вигляді архієпископії та патріархату.
Після рішення про створення Єдиної Помісної Церкви, РПЦ все ще має сильні позиції в боротьбі за православну першість в Україні. В цьому їй допомагає структура УПЦ МП, попри втрату частини кліру УПЦ МП через відмову РПЦ своєчасно надати автокефалію. Апелюючи до неканонічності дій Константинопольського патріархату на території вже існуючої і визнаної світом УПЦ МП, РПЦ намагається і далі нарощувати свій вплив перед вирішальною битвою.
EN : Research relevance: Prolonged institutional schism in Ukrainian Orthodoxy led to different visions on the development of denominations and its status, created differences in religious practices, conflicts at different stages, which affected the consolidation of all territories belonging to Ukraine, hindered understanding and reaching consensus. It was believed that granting local status to the Ukrainian Church would not be able to correct the current situation of institutional split in Ukrainian Orthodoxy.
2018 brought new realities of building a single local church in the context of Russian aggression, renewal and reorientation of the young state on the European vector of developing, the Moscow-Constantinople schism. The establishment of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine by the Patriarchate of Constantinople made it clear that the struggle of the ROC for Orthodox influence in Ukraine after the decision to establish the PCU continues. As before - it is covered by the concepts of "canonicity" and "anti-canonicity".
The object of research - social and religious processes in Ukraine and the world, which determined the acquisition of the local status of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
The subject of this research work is the context of the formation local status of the Orthodox Church in Ukraine in the projections of interfaith relations in Ukraine and inter-Orthodox relations Kyiv-Constantinople-Moscow-Orthodox world.
The aim of the research is tracing the formation of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine in the context of the struggle for church positions in Ukraine.
To achieve this aim it is considered appropriate to solve the following research tasks:
1) to find out the specifics of Ukrainian Orthodoxy;
2) identify the premises of the formation the local status of the PCU
3) to trace the process of dialogue between the UOC-KP, UOC-MP, UAOC, ROC and the Patriarchate of Constantinople;
4) to analyze conditions of the interfaith dialogue between Orthodox churches after the decision to create a single local church.
Conclusions: Ukrainian Orthodoxy throughout its long history has fought for independence from the ROC. It has its own distinctive features with their centuries-old tradition, which, however, were lost with the subordination of the Kiev metropolitanate to the Moscow Patriarchate in 1686. Today, the Ukrainian Church is actively dumping "Russian clothes" acquired during the imperial period and returning to its own peculiarities. Such tendencies are manifested in the development of PCU.
In connection with the establishment of the PCU, the inter-Orthodox conflicts have not disappeared and the institutional schism in Orthodoxy has not been overcome yet. The UOC-MP is still operating in Ukraine and the UOC-KP is trying to renew its activity.
The formation of the PCU was preceded: the reorientation of Ukraine to the Western European vector of development and Russian aggression; All-Orthodox Cathedral in Crete 2016; rapprochement of the UOC-KP with the UAOC; the war of the Patriarchate of Constantinople and Moscow for the Orthodox supremacy in Ukraine; Moscow-Constantinople schism of 2018.
The starting point in intensifying the confrontation between the Moscow and Constantinople Patriarchates, as well as one of the factors of Ukrainian autocephaly was the All-Orthodox Council in Crete in 2016, which clearly showed the true intentions of the ROC. At the Cathedral were accepted regulations on granting autocephaly, created legislative conditions and conditions for international recognition of the PCU established in Ukraine and providing a tomos.
The UAOC and UOC-KP were able to overcome the barrier and contradictions that existed between them for the sake of unification in the new canonical Local Church. The dialogue between the UAOC and the UOC-KP intensified in the context of the process of preparation for granting autocephaly to the Orthodox Church of Ukraine.
Today there are new challenges for the PCU. They prevent its further development. These challenges include the actions of the ROC and its puppet UOC-MP, the actions of Patriarch Filaret with his restoring the UOC-KP, the actions of the current Ukrainian government and the Moscow-Constantinople schism, which prevents the full recognition of the PCU by Local Churches.
After the decision to establish the United Local Church, the ROC still has a strong position in the struggle for Orthodox supremacy in Ukraine. The UOC-MP structure helps her in this. Appealing to the non-canonical actions of the Patriarchate of Constantinople on the territory of the already recognized UOC-MP, the ROC is trying to increase its influence before the decisive battle.
