UA : Кваліфікаційна робота магістра на тему «Фотографія як джерело з історії повсякдення радянської людини» складається з 90 сторінок, містить 24 джерела, 82 монографії та статті.
Об’єктом дослідження є фотографічні практики радянських громадян як специфічний різновид людської діяльності від початку їхнього формування, а також еволюція цього історико-культурного явища.
Предметом дослідження стали професійні й аматорські фотографії які репрезентують історію повсякдення радянської людини.
Метою дослідження є аналіз особливостей фотографії як історичного джерела, їх можливість репрезентувати історію повсякденного життя радянської людини.
Наукова новизна роботи обумовлена комплексним дослідженням фотографії як джерела з історії повсякдення радянської людини. Спробою визначення особливостей фотоджерел і визначенням інформаційного потенціалу фотоджерел з історії повсякдення радянської людини.
В ході дослідження, ми прийшли до наступних висновків:
Фотографію відносять до комплексу образотворчих, аудіовізуальних, візуальних джерел, технотронних документів. У понятійному апараті досліджень про фотодокументи немає загальноприйнятої термінології. Дослідники використовують різні трактування окремих понять. Згідно існуючих класифікацій фотографії поділяють згідно меті створення, способам отримання, місця зберігання, жанрами, сюжетам, специфіки роботи фотографа і т.д.
У 1920-1930-і роки відбувається зародження та становлення радянської фотографії. Основними тенденціями у цей період було пристосування нового жанру мистецтва під потреби агітації радянської влади, боротьба двох напрямків фотографії: репортерної зйомки та художньої постановочної фотографії. Головною вимогою до фотомитців було дотримання «радянського канону».
Радянська влада з перших років свого існування використовувала різні технічні засоби для пропаганди, і дуже важливу роль відводила фотографії, враховуючи її масовість та відносно низьку вартість. В різні етапи існування радянської держави міфологізація дійсності то збільшувалася, то зменшувалася, але завжди залишалася на високому рівні.
До специфіки радянського фотомистецтва можна віднести певні взаємовпливи «офіційної» фотографії на наївне фотомистецтво аматорів, бо в державі, де влада намагалася контролювати всі сфери життя, у тому числі і звичайний побут населення, точніше його сприйняття та фіксацію у памʼяті не можливо не зрозуміти ці впливи. З іншого боку, аматорська фотографія в часи свого найбільшого злету і поширення у 1960 – 1980 рр. почала також впливати на офіційну фотографію, бо вже давно перетворилася на певну буденність для населення і вже не визивала такого наївно-довірливого сприйняття.
Інформаційний потенціал радянських фотографій є досить високим, як будь якого фотоджерела. Враховуючи, що сама влада заохочувала громадян до заняттям фотомистецтвом маємо величезну кількість фотоджерел, що відбивають майже всі аспекти життя радянської людини.
Окрема група радянських фотографій це – фотографії з сімейних фотоальбомів. Але враховуючи обмежений доступ дослідників до сімейних світлин створюється обмеженість джерельної бази. Головною особливістю родинних фотографій є – сконцентрованість їх за метою створення, вони репрезентують історію родини. Самі фотографії є певними маяками, до яких прив’язуються певні спомини та формується пам'ять родини. Тому всі фотографії з сімейних альбомів присвячені невеликому колу подій – весілля, проводи до армії, перший клас у школі, навчання в інституті, тощо.

The main requirement for the photographers of was the observance of the "Soviet canon". During the first three years of its existence, the Soviet government used various technical means for propaganda, and photography was very important, because of its massiveness and relatively low cost. In different stages of the existence of the Soviet state, the mythologizing of reality at first increased, then decreased, but all the time was at a high level.
To the specifics of Soviet photography can also be attributed certain interactions of "official" photography to the naive photography of amateurs, because in a state where the government tried to control all spheres of life, including ordinary life, more accurate perception and fixation in memory is impossible to understand these influences.
