Лінгвістилістичні особливості перекладу романа “Shantaram” Г. Д. Робертса українською та російською мовами

Abstract

EN : The presented paper addresses the analysis of reproduction of linguistic and stylistic features in translation from English into Ukrainian and Russian. The object of the work can be defined as the original of the novel Shantaram by Gregory David Roberts and translation into Ukrainian by Vladimir Alexandrov and the Russian translation of Mikhail Abushkin and Lev Vysotsky. The main aim of the paper is to identify linguistic and stylistic features in the Ukrainian and Russian translation of Gregory David Roberts' novel Shantaram using comparative analysis. In order to successfully solve these problems, the objectives of our research are as follows: 1. Theoretically substantiate the peculiarities of the translation of English literary text into Ukrainian and Russian; 2. Analyze the text of the novel to identify linguistic features; 3. Find out the specifics and specificity of the use of lexical and grammatical transformations in translation; 4. Analyze on the basis of theoretical material the translation of linguistic features of the work and lexical and grammatical transformations on the material of the Ukrainian and Russian target texts of the novel "Shantaram" by Gregory David Roberts. In this paper we found that the work of G. D. Roberts is rich in representative vocabulary and nationally marked units that convey the national coloring, ways of life, lifestyle, culture and history of the country, which were presented through expressive means, techniques and tropes, as well as through lexical, grammatical and lexico-grammatical transformations. Transformations such as transcription, loan translation and modulation were most often used in translation. Transliteration, generalization, specification, emphatization and neutralization were also used. Thus, the use of translation transformations in translation of literary texts from English into Russian helps the translator to fully convey the basic meaning of the work, to express the author's attitude to the events described, to create the necessary atmosphere. However, for the most adequate translation, the translator should consider using appropriate translation transformations.

Мета роботи: виявлення лінгвостилістичних особливостей перекладу роману “Shantaram” Грегорі Девіда Робертса українською та російською мовами. Теоретико-методологічні засади: основні положення щодо перекладу текстів: С. І. Влахов, С. П. Флорин, Р. П. Зорівчак, В. Н. Коміссарова, Я. І. Рецкер, Ш. Баллі. Отримані результати: ми з'ясували, що твір Г. Д. Робертса рясніє насиченим лексичним складом та національномаркованими одиницями, які передають національний колорит, особливості життя, побуту, культури та історії країни, які були передані за допомогою виразних засобів, прийомів та тропів, а також за допомогою лексичних, граматичних та лексико-граматичних трансформацій. Найчастіше при перекладі були застосовані такі трансформації, як транскрипція, калькування та модуляція. А також такі трансформації, як транслітерація, генералізація, конкретизація, емфатизація та нейтралізація. Таким чином, використання перекладацьких трансформацій при перекладі художнього тексту з англійської мови на російську допомагає перекладачеві найповніше передати основний сенс твору, висловити ставлення автора до подій, що описуються, створити необхідну атмосферу, оскільки при перекладі художньої літератури в завдання перекладача не входить найбільш точний переклад кожного слова . Однак для найбільш адекватного перекладу перекладачеві варто звертати увагу на те, які частини речень можуть бути схильними до будь-яких перекладацьких трансформацій, особливо, якщо справа стосується граматичної або лексичної заміни або опущення.
