EN : The work is set out on 80 pages, 1 figure, 12 tables. The list of links includes 75 sources. The object of research is the aggression of adolescents. Over the last decade, the problem of aggression has become one of the most popular in world psychology. Such interest in this issue can be seen as a reaction of psychologists to the growth of aggression and violence in the world. The global approach to the phenomenon of aggression allows us to identify two polar points of view. According to the first, based on an ethical-humanistic approach, aggression is regarded as behavior that is a contradiction to the positive nature of man. In another, evolutionary-genetic approach, it is interpreted as an instinct that, together with other instincts, serves to save lives. In this approach, the phenomenon of aggression is considered a condition for the viability and adaptation of the individual. Numerous studies of this problem have shown that child abuse in the family not only leads to increased aggression towards peers, but also leads to the development of aggression, propensity to violence and cruelty in adulthood, turning physical aggression into a lifestyle. The practical significance of this work lies in the possibility of applying the results of theoretical and experimental research by teachers and psychologists of the education system, as well as the use of a proven author's program of psychocorrectional measures and guidelines to reduce the intensity of aggression in adolescence.
