The object of the study is quadrature method for solving Fredholm integral equations
of the second kind.
The aim of the study is to develop iterative schemes for solving Fredholm integral equations of the second kind by the quaanalytical, numerical, comparative.
In the work the definition and classification of integral equations are given.
The integral equations of Fredholm and Voltaire are considered in more detail. The
basic methods of their solution are described. The basic relations for the quadrature
method of solving Fredholm's integral equations of the second kind are stated in
detail. The quadrature formulas that allow solving such integral equations, namely
the quadrature formulas of Gauss, Simpson, trapezoids, rectangles and their
properties are considered, Runge's principle of estimating the practical error of
quadrature formulas is given. An iterative procedure for refining solutions of integral
equations based on the application of Runge's principle to the calculation of integrals
was developed. Examples of solving problems using the developed approach were
given, solutions for different quadrature formulas were compared.
