The theoretical bases of formation of spirituality in pedagogical science of Ukraine are defined in the work; the essence of the terms "spirituality", "spiritual needs", "spiritual values", "spiritual health" is revealed; the process of formation of spirituality of the future teacher in the courses "Philosophy", "Ethics", "Aesthetics" and "Valeology" in the system of higher pedagogical education is analyzed.
