UA : Об’єкт дослідження: англомовний рекламний дискурс в українському
медіа-просторі.
Мета роботи: виявлення і аналіз лексико-стилістичнних особливостей
перекладу англомовних рекламних слоганів українською мовою останніх
десятиліть.
Теорико-методологічні засади: ключові положення теорії дискурсу,
розроблені в лінгвістиці (Ф. Бартріна, К. Баюн, І. Бехта, В. Зірка, Ж. Лінгонг
та ін.) та рекламістиці (А. Алонсо, Дж. Даєр, Н. Кутуза, Г. Кучер, М. Терещук,
М. Трехан та ін.)
Отримані результати: Цей дипломний проект є аналітико-
теоретичним дослідженням англо-українського перекладу реклами. Після
огляду стану реклами за останні десятиліття та її поточного стану, згадується
важлива роль, яку відіграє спеціалізований перекладач у будь-якій
глобалізованій рекламній кампанії, необхідні навички, якими він чи вона
повинні володіти, щоб виконувати завдання такого типу та труднощі, які
можна зустріти на цьому шляху. Нарешті, все буде проілюстровано за
допомогою аналізу реальних перекладів реклами з англійської мови
українською мовою, а висновки, зроблені з цього аналізу, будуть детально
описані.
EN : The presented paper is dedicated to the analysis of such a typical problem as
the stylistic peculiarities in the process of English advertisement translation.
The object of the work can be defined as the English-language advertising
discourse in the Ukrainian media space.
The main aim of the paper consists in analyzing the ways, mechanisms and
forms of the translation of English-language advertising slogans into Ukrainian in
recent decades and identifying their lexical and stylistic features. It determined the
accomplishment of such objectives as:
- defining advertising text, highlighting its functions, goals, and effects;
- defining the advertising slogan;
- considering advertising as a socio-cultural phenomenon;
- highlighting the linguistic features of the translation of English-
language advertising slogans;
- analyzing the linguistic and stylistic features of the translation of
English-language advertising slogans and their translation methods;
- providing recommendations regarding the translation of English-
language advertising slogans.
This Final Project is a theoretical and analytical study of English-Ukrainian
advertising translation.
After going through the history and current situation of advertising, the crucial
role of specialized translators in any globalized advertising campaign will be
referenced, together with the necessary set of skills they must have to face this kind
of translation and the difficulties they can encounter. In the end, all of this will be
illustrated by analyzing real translations of commercials from English into
Ukrainian and the conclusions drawn from this analysis will be explained in detail.
